Made in collaboration with Hoʻoulu ʻĀina, this short film honors the life and legacy of musician, poet, artist, and activist ʻĪmaikalani Kalāhele. For nearly half a century, Unko ʻĪmai has stood as a pillar within various communities, steadfast in his devotion and dedication to Native Hawaiian art and “the movement” at large.
